Floyd Rasmusson was born in eastern Michigan and moved to Toledo,Oh around the age of 7. He joined the Army Air Corps in 1940, and would soon find himself involved in mechanics. During the war he serviced many airplanes, and also was a trainer in Orlando, Florida.

Bill received two pay checks from the Navy for his work in his family owned business. He decided enough was enough, and decided to enlist. In civilian life Rex Turner worked at Willy’s Overland before the war. He was drafted, and served in the United States Army. He was in the 5th Army 735th MP Battalion, serving overseas in England from 1942-1945. Read more
