A country boy at sea

Nelson Bell grew up on a farm in the small town of Circleville,Ohio just south of Columbus.

Nelson tells us many stories of life as a young man living through the beginning of the war. He then details his experience in the Navy, which began shortly before the end of the war.

His patriotic spirit shines to this day, in his free time he has become an amateur writer. His love for his country has not faded, and only grown stronger through the years.
