Leonard Newman was born and raised in Cleveland,Ohio.
He joined the military as soon as he was old enough to serve. He found himself serving as a replacement in Japan. He tells a wonderful story of what life was like in post war Japan. He talks to us about seeing Hiroshima, and routing the Japanese people from caves.
A short interview that offers insight into post war action that is often forgotten.
