B-24 Veteran Jim Ryan

A rare story…. Jim and his crew crash Landed in Sweden during the second World  War. Sweden was a neutral country so they held all P.O.W.s from all countries. Jim was lucky to survive and then was given photos of his plane by a Swedish waitress. He actually made it home to the U.S. before the war ended.

A wonderful man and a great story of what it was like to be in the Army Air Corps during the war.
