B-24 Veteran Jim Ryan

A rare story…. Jim and his crew crash Landed in Sweden during the second World  War. Sweden was a neutral country so they held all P.O.W.s from all countries. Jim was lucky to survive and then was given photos of his plane by a Swedish waitress. He actually made it home to the U.S. before the war ended. Read more

87th Veteran’s Military Honors Stolen; Girl Scouts Give the Veteran His Legacy

This is story I read when I was looking at the 87th Infantry Division association’s website. It is a touching story, especially since I read it the soon after Veteran’s Day. This is a story that renews hope in our nation. When Veterans are often forgotten, and are freedoms overlooked, it is nice to know that the younger generation still cares. Read more

Update for Veteran’s Day

I just wanted to inform everyone that Veterans Day will be doing interviews and historic display’s at West Park Place in Toledo Ohio.
